Congestive heart failure patients are getting better medical attention without leaving home. As part of the Qualcomm Wireless Reach Initiative, patients in rural Arizona are provided with monitoring equipment that sends data directly to nurses, enabling them to catch problems early, reducing costs and hospital visits.
